Espina
Espina started with a kid who had great passion for music and its genres. He received inspiration as a young teen, which soon developed into writing music. At the age of 16, Ivan Sanchez began to write music. Coming up with all sorts of styles, it was hard to keep just one. Writing lyrics based on personal experiences and others close to him, he developed a mixture of styles including, classic rock, alternative, grunge and pop.
Throughout the years Ivan played with different musicians and different groups, but failed to keep the determination between the band members. Five years into the voyage of making a great band, Ivan finally found the perfect chemical to match his sound. Milton Reyes, an old bandmember and close friend asked Ivan about starting the band again. With new inspiration and new music Milton referred two fellow co-workers, David Guerra and Luis Sandoval . Last but not least, Ivan managed to find Alex Monteyo, pull him out of his church band, and complete what is now Espina. Starting with Milton- Lead guitar, David- Bass Guitar, Luis- rythem guitar, Alex- Drums, and Ivan-Vocals, Espina is the new Latin/Rock movement with the goal of changing Latin/Rock music forever.
